Option 1: Stop Apps on Users & Groups
Click on System Preferences on the top left corner of your Mac. It will navigate ot System Preferences panel.

Option 2: Stop Apps on the App Settings
If the app keeps opening automatically, it can quickly change this from your Dock, assuming the app is there permanently or as a recently-used app.

To end turn this off by simply clicking
